I hope you were able to watch the total lunar eclipse today!
From Iowa, the totality was only 88% at the most, but we enjoyed laying out in the sun and watching it all go down!
We had solar eclipse glasses that we got from Casey’s General Store last week, a thick dark green glass plate, and some extra dark welding glasses to share with friends!
Check out these cool pictures I got using my phone camera! I hope you remembered that the eclipse can be harmful to your phone camera as well as your eyes- I used the glasses and the glass plate to filter out the bright sunlight, and got some cool little visuals alongside the sun in the shots
Can you see the little crescents in the picture? Very cool!
